This four-week series is for everyone, whether you have taken our previous introductory courses or not. Join Coach Jithu and work on your game! Attendees will have the opportunity to play chess and practice their new skills.

About Coach Jithu

Coach Jithu is currently a student at the University of Connecticut. Focusing on player’s tactical and strategic development, Coach Jithu teaches chess lessons for DIG. Coach Jithu’s current USCF Rating is 1976. At the 2018 Bradley Open (Hartford, CT), Coach Jithu placed 2nd out of 38 players in the U1800 section. He went 4-1 at the tournament.

One of Jithu’s private lesson students said: “Coach Dan taught me how to play chess when I was a total beginner. Coach Jithu upped my game by teaching me strategies. I love learning new strategies from him and also he gives me cool puzzles. My rating has gone up over 300 points since I started working with Jithu. He’s a great coach.”
