Due to a rise in COVID cases, masks are required when visiting the Library building.

Early Literacy Festival

Sunday, October 24, 2021
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Visit the Library Courtyard for some fun early literacy activities and crafts, listen to stories, sing songs, and visit with a beloved storytime character! Take a stroll along our StoryWalk and sign up for our new 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program.

Early literacy is more than just practicing the alphabet - your child gains early literacy skills by playing and learning with you every day!

As our dear friend Mr. Rogers said, “Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.”

Library Mask Guidelines

Participants over the age of 2 should wear a mask at all times while in the Library building and in the Courtyard when social distancing is not possible. Presenters who are located more than six feet away from attendees may remove their mask to provide clear instructions. The health and safety of our patrons is paramount to us. Thank for your cooperation!

Due to the space limitations, masks are required at this outdoor program.

Weather-Related Changes
