Active Parenting, four-week class

This program requires registration

This March, the Community Fund of Darien and the Darien Library invite you to join a four week parenting series. Active Parenting is an award winning, evidence based program that equips parents with tools they need to communicate effectively with children, discipline while teaching responsibility, sidestep power struggles and redirect misbehavior, encourage the development of self-esteem and character and prevent the use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. Every parent will benefit from learning these practical tools.

We will be offering this class from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesdays for parents of preschool students and on Thursday for parents of high school students. Moira Rizzo, LMFT, will facilitate the series.

Thursday sessions are for parents of high school students.
