Darien Library is happy to offer resume review services through JobNow. JobNow’s resume experts will identify grammatical and stylistic errors and provide you with constructive comments regarding the effectiveness of your resume and cover letter. These services are all available at no charge to you. Just use your Darien Library card to get started.

Bloomberg Terminal

Use the Bloomberg Terminal to search for job openings in the financial district. It also tracks real-time financial market data so you can stay on top of the market and your investments. Darien residents, people who work in Darien, and Friends may reserve the Terminal in advance. Just stop by the Reference Desk on the Second Level to reserve your spot. Monthly Business Workshops

We partner with SCORE of Fairfield County and other organizations for monthly business workshops. The topics presented will help you keep your skills up to date while you job hunt. You can use what you learn to offer employers new strategies to meet their business needs.

Business Book Group

Network with others at our Business Book Group discussions every eight weeks. Each session is focused around a non-fiction book that is specifically chosen to help you succeed in your business aspirations. Prior reading of the books is not necessary to attend the discussion. After the discussion, attendees network over beer and light refreshments. Check event listings for the next meeting.
