Texas westerns and funny novels visited the group this morning. Some "you just fall off your chair laughing" kind of stories, says Pat who presented with Marianne today. Jen visited as well, in hand with the newest titles from the Library's Wonder Wall. Her favorite book, set on the open ranges of the Long Star State, is News of The World by Paulette Jiles. "The best book I have read in three years," she said. "Beautiful, poetic writing."
Plus other wonderful reads, including the Library's Pop-up Discussion Book, Tribe by Sebastian Junger, designed as a celebration of Veteran's Day on November 10th, with special guest speakers. Sign up todayto attend, space is still available.
