Let's continue on the path to mental wellness with Dr. Wendy Hurwitz!

We all have experienced anxiety--feelings of fear and distress that can become overwhelming and can even prevent us from enjoying the events of everyday life.  Join Dr. Wendy Hurwitz as she returns to Darien Library to discuss this very common issue in adults.

Dr. Hurwitz will talk about anxiety and what can be done to help prevent it, and to manage it if it occurs. She will discuss what you can do before and during anxiety to help reduce and relieve symptoms and regain balance, calm and clarity. You will come away with information, tools and techniques to help manage anxiety, and help regain and restore balance and calm.

About the Presenter

A graduate of Yale University School of Medicine, Dr. Wendy Hurwitz is a nationally recognized expert on stress. A former medical researcher for ABC News, Dr. Hurwitz is an expert in two fields: Mind/Body Medicine and Energy Medicine. She has a forthcoming book on stress.
