The Classics Room and magazine side of the Second Floor will close at 6 p.m. on Wednesday and will reopen on Friday.

Storytimes are currently held at varying times, outdoors and virtually. Outdoor programs may be canceled in case of inclement weather.

All storytimes are currently open to both residents and non-residents. In-person storytimes require registration.


Baby Laptime

Designed for meaningful one-on-one interaction between baby and caregiver.


Virtual Storytime & Storytime at Highland Farm

Focused on early literacy skills while wiggling and laughing. The librarian leads the group in a variety of action-oriented books, fingerplays, songs, and rhymes.

Want to start your own book club? Kids can borrow one of our curated book club kits that gives them the power to organize and run a book club for their peers. Each kit includes five books and a laminated set of discussion questions. Select a book from our list of book club choices for children in Kindergarten to Sixth Grade!
