Donna is back to teach the very popular Beginner's Boot Camp! Do you want to learn this fun and addictive game?
This class is for true beginners only.
Mah Jongg is an absorbing tile game of skill and chance. Learn to play American Mah Jongg and enter the fascinating world of Bams, Dragons and Dots!
For 4 sessions, March 16 - 19, experienced and esteemed instructor Donna Holt will introduce you to the basics of understanding the tiles and the current Mah jongg card, and how to select and strengthen a winning hand. Rules and strategies of play as well as game etiquette will be covered. Review sheets will be provided after every class.
Serious learners only: due to the nature of this program, we ask that you sign up for all four sessions: March 16th, 17th, 18th, and 19th. Can you make all 4? Sign up below, and your name will be reserved for all four dates.
About the Instructor
Popular instructor and longtime Darien resident Donna Holt teaches both learn to play and guided play strategy classes at many local organizations, libraries and clubs throughout Fairfield County.

Reminder: Daytime Parking
During the day, parking is available in Darien Library's parking lot. If the lot is full, there may be street parking available on Thorndal Circle.
Library patrons may not park in the Nielsen or Michael Joseph's parking lots; violators will be towed.
