Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a computer class for seniors age 60+. This class will feature internet browsing where you will learn the basics of launching a browser, keyword searching, navigating web pages and tips on internet safety. Beginners are welcome!

What you will learn:

  • How to open a web browser and do basic keyword searching
  • How to know when there is a link to another page
  • Best ways to use the mouse and keyboard for scrolling up and down a page
  • Internet safety tips including how to avoid malware and stay safe shopping online
  • How to check for Windows updates
  • Downloading files and locating files in the download folder
