Service Interruption for March 23rd - March 26th

To add wireless printing and other enhancements, all public computers, the Bloomberg Terminal, and Business Center services (e.g., printing) will be temporarily unavailable from 5 p.m. on March 23rd until sometime on the morning of March 26th. 

We'll still have WiFi. Other Library services will be unaffected.

Event Details

Join fellow makers for The Craft Collective, a welcoming space for crafters to gather, create, and connect. As the holiday season approaches, bring a work in progress such as knitting, embroidery, paper crafts, or another portable project, and spend an hour in good company while working on your handmade gifts.

Whether you are hoping to finish your projects, find inspiration, or simply enjoy some creative camaraderie, this is your time to craft in community.

Safety Requirements

Due to space and outlet limitations, we kindly ask that participants refrain from bringing large or equipment-heavy projects such as sewing machines or power tools. 

For everyone's safety, resin crafts, wood burning, and crafts of that nature are not permitted. 

Need to Know

Reminder: Daytime Parking

During the day, parking is available in Darien Library's parking lot. If the lot is full, there may be street parking available on Thorndal Circle. 

Library patrons may not park in the Nielsen or Michael Joseph's parking lots; violators will be towed.
