Event Details

Darien Library welcomes you to an Open House! Whether you’re new to Darien or revisiting the Library as old friend, we invite you to come enjoy books, crafts, and treats in the Library Courtyard. Meet your friendly neighborhood Librarians and learn about the special events, resources, and programs that are available to you at Darien Library.

Special Activities

  • Attend a special storytime in the Children’s Library at 3:30 p.m
  • Take a tour of the Materials Handling System and see the book-sorting magic with your very own eyes at 3:15 p.m., 3:45 p.m., and 4:15 p.m.
  • Cider and donuts will be available to all attendees free of charge (while supplies last!) at the Café at Darien Library.
  • Special Gunsmoke concert at 5 p.m. in the Community Room!
