Program Description
Event Details
Players will participate in strategy based games using painted miniature figures and terrained boards reminiscent of some famous conflicts in history. Come play a recreation of the famous World War I battle between the Germans and American Marines using miniature figures of all the soldiers. The playing area consists of trenches, barbed wire, shell craters, bunkers, and destroyed villages. The Germans try to overwhelm the newly arrived Marines. This is where the Marines earned their nickname “Devil Dogs”. Lots of fun, and also learn a bit of history. Games are facilitated by experts from HMGS Next Gen, Inc. who have great experience in running games that are fun and challenging for players.
