About the Presenter

Nick Salmond has been living and working in London for the past 35 years. He was a television director for BBC News for over 20 years, covering important news events such as the death of Diana and the coverage of 9/11.

 In 2017, he trained as a Blue Badge Tourist Guide, the highest attainable qualification for tourist guiding in the UK. Salmond was awarded Guide of the Year in 2019, which is presented to the best student of the qualifying group.
