About Dr. Aurora Maher 

Dr. Aurora Maher is the founder and CEO of AMFA Capital Management. She started her career in 2005 as a quantitative strategist at a Merrill Lynch proprietary trading group, where she managed portfolios valued in hundreds of millions of dollars. Later she worked at McKinsey Investment Office and other private funds including Hedera Capital, which she co-founded. Dr. Maher holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from Carnegie Mellon University.
