Program Description

Event Details

In celebration of Jane Austen’s 250th Birthday, join us for a Regency inspired afternoon!

We will learn what a typical day was for women during the Regency era, and spend our afternoon enjoying some activities that would have been common including; the radical way that letters were written and folded to save paper as Jane would have done, create your own pomander ball to take home, and try your hand at making a shade portrait.

If you would like to create a portrait, please plan to bring a small profile printed picture of yourself or a loved one to trace.
