Event Details

Stop by the Earth Day table in the courtyard for tips and tricks on how to recycle and do more for planet Earth now and in the future.

What You Will Learn

  • How simple it is to recycle food scraps
  • What can and can't be recycled in Darien and neighboring towns
  • Where and how you can recycle unusual items you might have not known were recyclable

Stay for our Earth Day movie, "The Year the Earth Changed," narrated by David Attenborough, at 3 p.m. in the Community Room. We will be raffling off food scrap kits to 4 lucky winners!

In addition, we are recycling all week. Stop by the Welcome Desk, starting Monday, April 17, with your old eyeglasses, unwanted lego, and wine bottle corks. We will be recycling them with local organizations and groups who will repurpose them.
