Program Description

Event Details

The Children's Library is excited to announce that illustrator Victoria Jamieson will join Darien Library for this Meet the Author event!

Hear about the behind-the-scenes details that go into creating graphic novels in a interactive presentation from the Newbery Award winning author. Participants will have to chance to ask Victoria herself about her career as a graphic novelist at the end of the presentation.

We will be giving away free signed copies of Roller Girl to all of the attendees of the event.

This author event is being offered in memory of former Darien librarian, Marian McLeod— anyone who wishes to honor Miss Marian’s memory can join library staff after the event for a memorial bench dedication.

Recommended for ages 7 and up.
