About the Presenters
Hi, my name is Alex Cruikshank, I am a Junior at Darien High School and I am currently in AP Biology. I got interested in science in 8th grade. I am super interested in medicine and medical research. A field of medicine and science overall I'm super interested in is Cardiology, over the last couple years I've done my own learning regarding different heart rhythms, cardiac health, and how AEDs, Lifepaks and other medical equipment work and hope to share that learning with everyone at the Darien Library!
Hey, my name is Drew Sharron. I started out with science here at DHS originally with Honors Bio and then the year after Honors Chemistry. Both classes I enjoyed, which then led me to decide ot take AP Chemistry my Junior year with Mr. Vital. Maybe it was the teacher or the class, but AP Chem sparked an interest in me for science, and was part of the reason why I decided to do library lectures. This year I'm taking Honors Physics, and so far it's been a fun class.
