Join us for an informative program designed to help you recognize the warning signs of scams and learn practical steps to protect yourself and your personal information. Tom Parnon will cover common scams, how scammers operate, and what to do if you or someone you know has been targeted. Leave feeling more confident, informed, and prepared.

About the Presenter

Tom Parnon is a long time Darien resident who recently retired after 45 years. He worked for several small IT companies in Connecticut and also provided independent consulting services. He performed a variety of sales, marketing, and product development functions. For 3 years, until 2024, he published a monthly blog dealing with data backup and security issues. During this period he also received ongoing cyber security training. Tom has made presentations to Chamber of Commerce and Senior Living Groups explaining cyber security and data backup in non-technical terms.
