Watercolor Cards: Springtime Flowers with Artist, Colleen Hains

Darien Library, Art Masters of Silvermine, and Sterling Care will bring some color, watercolor actually, to your Thursday afternoon.

Colleen Hains, owner of Art Masters of Silvermine, has designed Springtime themed images for you to personalize with watercolor and your creativity. These images are then made into greeting cards which you can hand to your special friend, neighbor, send a note in the mail, or simply brighten someone’s day with your original artwork cards.

Each participant will receive their 8 cards bundled and wrapped with a natural jute twine string. 

About the Artist

Colleen Hains, owner of Art Masters of Silvermine has been painting for 40 years, and a good portion of her studying was under Rayma Spaulding, a Hudson River Valley painter. She loves to capture the meaning and feeling of what she is trying to paint and through her teachings help others to do the same

She feels very fortunate to admit that "I have never derived so much joy from anything as I do from painting, and I would like to help others do the same."
