Service Interruption for March 23rd - March 26th

To add wireless printing and other enhancements, all public computers, the Bloomberg Terminal, and Business Center services (e.g., printing) will be temporarily unavailable from 5 p.m. on March 23rd until sometime on the morning of March 26th. 

We'll still have WiFi. Other Library services will be unaffected. 

Banner Printing

Banner and poster printing are available at Darien Library. Please allow 72 business hours' notice. We will confirm your print request and cost before printing. The cost is at the next largest half foot. 

 

File Dimensions

The PDF needs to be sized at the final dimensions for printing. For example, a 24 x 36-inch poster should have the same file size dimensions. Our staff are unable to resize designs to different dimensions than what is submitted for printing.

 

Pricing

Pricing is by the linear foot. This means that if a design is 24 x 36 inches, it would fit on our 24-inch paper. We would then calculate the cost by how many feet are in the other dimension. In this example, that'd be 36 inches or 3 linear feet. The charge would then come out at the 3 feet length.
