You are likely already building the key skills needed for early literacy.The skills are talking, singing, reading, writing, and playing.
Stop by the Children's Library to ask for ideas on how to include these skills in your child's daily routine.
Attend a Storytime
Storytimes are for babies, toddlers, and children up to age 5. The Children's Library offers other programs for children up to age 12.
Borrow Library Books

- View books in-person or online.

Baby Laptime
Ages birth to 18 months
Join us for our favorite songs, rhymes, and bounces specifically for pre-walking babies.

Come On Everybody
Walkers up to 36 months
This fast-paced storytime for toddlers includes rhymes and songs followed by an animated picture book film.
Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.
Musical Story Hour
All Ages
This joyful storytime for families includes our favorite books, fingerplays, and songs.
