Event Details

Darien Library, along with Barrett Bookstore, welcome Internet and cooking sensation, Deb Perelman, to discuss her new book, Smitten Kitchen Keepers: New Classics for Your Forever Files.

The wait is over: this new book from the best-selling and beloved author of The Smitten Kitchen Cookbook and Smitten Kitchen Every Day is a carefully curated collection of 100 essential recipes for meals you'll want to prepare again and again. From Cozy Chicken and Dumplings to Fettuccine with White Ragú, and from Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cookies to Strawberry Summer Stack Cake, these recipes are, as the name suggests--keepers, from Perelman's forever files to yours.  They will make shopping easier, preparation more practical and enjoyable, and food more reliably delicious for the home cook.

Deb will be in conversation with Page Berger of Darien's Barrett Bookstore.

About Deb Perelman

Deb Perelman is the author of two best-selling cookbooks and is one of the Internet's most successful food bloggers. Smitten Kitchen Keepers is her third cookbook, and will be released on November 22, 2022. A self-taught cook and photographer, Perelman obsessively tests her recipes in her tiny kitchen for accuracy to make sure that not a single bowl is wasted and that the results are always worth the effort, and are simply and utterly delicious. Her award-winning blog, SmittenKitchen.com, is a homegrown brand that now has more than one million Instagram followers. She lives in New York City with her husband and their children.
